How I became involved

Shay Cullen (pictured at the top left in front of what I call his GLORY BOARD) made an enemy when he falsely accused me of a crime I did not commit.  He took portions of the truth, added, subtracted or even twisted information and began a campaign to discredit me.  He then made the mistake of blaming my adopted son for a crime he did not commit.

What truth?  He began by convincing any and all that my daughter was adopted (she was born fifteen months after we were married, this fact documented), that I was an unfit parent, and that I allowed and encouraged my daughter to be sexually molested.  He then accused me of obstruction of justice because I did not file charges against the just barely twelve-year-old son of my maid.  Then he said my adopted son also raped my daughter.

Oh, and while he was at it, he began a smear campaign to the effect that I was a pedophile having sex with an underaged daughter of my maid.  Noteworthy is the fact that not only her family denied such an event, but the girl herself, after she was of legal age, submitted her own affidavit stating in effect that what was being told about me was a bold-faced lie.  The only exception to this statement is her brother signed a statement that I had an affair with his sister, with which no one ever filed to court against me - Not Shay Cullen, the Special Prosecutor who took the statement, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, nor the staff of Preda Foundation, Inc.

Wouldn't anyone know why?  After all, on the surface, it's pretty damning evidence, isn't it?

Within the first few months he made the statement to me privately, "I will hound you until you are an old man."

Fine.  But do it honestly.  Dirty tricks department is not my forte.  In fact, I hate liars.  Hence, I will do everything in my power to expose this man for what he is, and I believe him to be a liar.

Am I being malicious? I do not believe so because I will at least show his side of the story, even to point out his web site, but I believe that he is malicious because he uses lies and underhanded tactics to gain his goals, and I doubt that he has the courage to include links to this website in his own web site, which is http//www.preda.org (sample screen capture above.  Most of what I have to discuss is under the "Legal Page" link on bottom of right column).  Don't make a judgment here:  Read all the evidence I present here at this site, weigh the pros and cons of the evidence and then decide who is telling the truth.

He still attacks me on the Internet with his web site above (go to his link "Legal Page" at http//www.preda.org and note that another link appears called EDMONDS FILE).  Attempts to get him to stop have been unsuccessful because he almost always manages to get the case I filed dismissed.  He then claims "exoneration" and continues to libel me.  He will not stop, apologize nor make restitution for his damaging my family, and I do not expect this of him since his attacks began in 1998.  It does not seem to be in his nature to forgive nor to be Christian.  As just stated, "It does not SEEM . . ."

Am I the only one affected?  No.  Note on the right of the page the link he has to the Davao Death Squads article for which the Mayor of Davao filed a libel suit against him.  It was withdrawn, he claims "exoneration" and continues his libel of the Philippines.  Does the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation take any action against him?  No, even when notified by letter of the writings of Shay Cullen.  It seems that he is well protected and will never be deported, yet the people he lives among seem to want no part of him.

Perhaps I am wrong.  Am I?  This whole web site is BECAUSE of his unwarranted attacks on my children and I, and because he refuses to face the fact that I will not be railroaded by his rhetoric.  I have no other choice, because neither the International Commission on Human Rights in Geneva nor the Vatican have taken any action against him even when presented with some of the facts as presented on this web site, and they have yet to ask for any more information about my allegations.  Perhaps now they will notice.  But then again, with all the cover ups in the past . . .

Now, he could have attacked me up directly, but he did not; no, he went to work by attacking my children, but of course he had to discredit me because I was defending my children.  That got my attention quite quickly, and I began my efforts to expose him.  He has called me "effeminate," "domineering," "unstable," "paedophile protector" (his spelling) and other such characterizations that had me filing case after case against him.  These cases I filed he never attributed to me, but to some nonexistent (as far as I know) sex mafia and rich bar owners, or other such garbage.  What good would he get by saying (for example) that a single father was filing a case because he called my daughter "adopted from Filipino parents in Angeles City" when she had actually been born fifteen (15) months after the vows of matrimony had been exchanged?  Does he ever show any adoption papers?  No, because there are none.  Do I show her birth records?  Yes.  Some "adoption."

I have no problem with a person who tries to do the right thing, but Shay Cullen is shown for what he is on this web site.  I have requested help from the American Embassy in Manila for help; I requested help from the International Commission on Human Rights in Geneva; I have even written several times to the Pope at the Vatican.  To date, I am still pretty much on my own.  This web site is my idea, and at my own expense.  Even my own parents advised me to leave the children and return to the United States (I will never forgive them for that).  The only help and moral support I have ever been given has been a lone German citizen named Hartmut Joost who is referred as "Harry" here, because that is what I was told his name was when I was directed to him from some friends who knew more than I did about the Irish priest named Shay Cullen.  Oh, yes, Harry Joost is also on Shay Cullen's Legal Page link - Is Harry all that Shay Cullen purports him to be?

Also helping me has been a very honest group of individuals in Japan working for the "Love and Human Rights Forum" located in Tokyo.  They were supporting Shay Cullen, translating his writings into Japanese until they became aware that he had been misleading them for a number of years.  Specifically there is the most honorable man I have ever had the pleasure of corresponding with, the Reverend Kyoji Goto.  He is a true friend, as is Harry Joost and my attorney, Edmundo S. Cari-an.

Other than the individuals listed above, there have been many more individuals helping me that because of their positions or knowledge of the underhanded tactics that Shay Cullen is well known for, do not desire their names to be publicly promoted, although I would if I were permitted, but I respect their desires.

I will in this web site denounce those deserving it by their underhanded documented actions or statements.  One such individual is the Honorable Judge Dorentino Z. Floresta, whom I believe to be under the influence of Shay Cullen, and has charged me with "malicious prosecution" for complaining about his actions to the Ombudsman with regard to my daughter and son AFTER HE INHIBITED HIMSELF AS A PROSECUTOR MORE THAN ONCE, HAD THE CASE ASSIGNED TO ANOTHER PROSECUTOR WHO SUBSEQUENTLY DISMISSED THE COMPLAINT, AND THEN WROTE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR THE INVOLUNTARY CUSTODY OF MY DAUGHTER AFTER HER CUSTODY HAD BEEN AWARDED TO ME BY THE COURT!

My point is this:  This information is bound to be read by those people who have been misled by Shay Cullen and his cohorts (those who know that he is not a truthful person and yet still do his will in a most un-Christian manner), and I want them to know that he is using them to gaitj AE
